Something wrong?!? Yipes, the events on this police blotter could have come right out of Grimm's grimmer fairy tales and that's what's wrong with the book although, wow, what a bedtime story. First on the docket is the missing baby with the strange woman and her vicious Doberman; then there's the fatal abortion attempt by the teenager, the odd increase in shoplifting among youngsters from a certain highschool and finally the berserk killer. It keeps Sergeant Maddox and policewoman Carstairs (and the reader) busy. And it has the ""one in a million case that--you could say--stuck in the mind."" And in the stomach.
