MASTER MIKE AND THE MIRACLE MAID

If there's anything duller than a comic book, that's all text, it's a poor parody of a comic book without pictures. The dilemma of Penny Potter, transformed by conjuring-and-crime-conscious Uncle Mike into ""the most amazing sixteen-year-old girl in the world,"" Miracle Maid, when all she wants is a date with Jimmy Daniels, could be a high school lampoon, and it could be fun for a few pages; stretched to a hundred, not sharp enough to be satire, not inventive enough to renew interest, it's just plain tedious and trite, and no challenge to Superman.
