THE NEXT FINE DAY

Although this has been reviewed as an adult book in the previous issue, its simplicity and obvious clarity make it an ideal choice for the young adult audience. Kent, a boy who calls himself ""Mr. Nobody"", reflects his mother's desire to lock the door on her past when her American aviator husband is killed. Retreating to the Kentish Downs, they meet a wise artist who is able to give young Kent new directions and convince his mother that her determination was wrong. A sound and heartwarming story in an old fashioned tradition.
