by Elizabeth Yates ‧ RELEASE DATE: Sept. 16, 1940
From the angle of giving the feel and quality of Iceland, this is excellent. On its merits as a story, it is rather thin. But there is the adventure of discovery in sharing with Michael and Merry the beauties and contradictions of Iceland, a country where old and new rub elbows. Well written and authentic.
