There's a warm quality to this story of a happy little Italian family, whose livelihood came from a gas station, and whose hopes were pinned on the success of the roadside stand, in which venture all shared, and the future ownership of a red truck. There were two children, and various pets, and they all had a part in the family fortunes, and helped make new friends of passers-by. A delightful story, introducing a friendly picture of Italian Americans and their loyalty to their adopted country.
