THE KILLING KIND

In the limelight after shooting two pushers, L.A. private investigator Jim Blaney is hired by John Colby, an ""old hard-ass"" millionaire whose wife has run out on him. Clare Colby turns up in the company of a Vegas hood with a million dollars' worth of her husband's diamonds. Blaney is lured into recovering the rocks for a 15 percent cut--enough for the cruise of his dreams with his secretary Bedelia--before the going gets rough. Fast and zigzaggy with many reverses to keep you in high gear.
