WINDOW ON THE SEA

Sequel to last year's Anchor for Her Heart, this continues the effervescent experiences of an Annapolis junior miss, Joan Andrews, as with her father, they summer at the San Diego naval base. Joan's painting, and the reward of an Honorable Mention at an exhibit; her acquisition of a much wanted family as Capt. Andrews meets widowed Martha Chance and the near breakup of that romance when Martha's 12-year old Judy stirs up trouble. Joan's own liking for both Bill and Dan made plausible by a matter of fact realization that 17 is too young for serious decisions, contribute to providing a busy time for all, and entertainment, while not elevating, pleasurable, for the middle teens.
