OLD MRS. CAMELOT

Spoiled, opinionated, old Mrs. Camelot defies local gentility and takes in Robina Adams, an imported war worker, to live with her, and on her death leaves Robina her fortune. Coincidence, rumor and gossip infer Robina killed Mrs. Camelot. Her predicament brings the man she loves (and whom she thought she had lost) to her aid, and together they piece out scraps of evidence for and against her, bits of old history to confront their prey and wind up the case without professional assistance. British and satisfying.
