The trials of true love as Fatricia walks out on a war marriage to Cam, only to meet him again in Honolulu. Cam is still in the Army, chasing a cool million spirited out of Germany. Patricia finds herself implicated through a Captain she had known overseas who is involved. And- in contact with Cam again-she finds she wants him back, swallows her pride, wrecks her romance with the islands' most eligible bachelor, and confesses there is no substitute for true love. Genteel romance, hypoed up with flag waving, Hawaiian scenery, feminine fashions and almost strictly W.C.T.U. (only a touch of sherry permitted) -- this is sure substance for the rental market.
