by Emma Lathen ‧ RELEASE DATE: July 1, 1974
This is another of Miss Lathen's annual reports about yet another industry -- the Dreyer Chocolate Company -- and while we know she has her adherents, as loyal as AT&T's, others won't give a cocoa bean about learning about the commodity market and its instability and a whole new ad campaign for a new product (the Old Glory chocolate bar) all of which seem to take precedence over the murders of a buyer just back from Ghana and the man at the top. Neither the police nor John Putnam Thatcher seem to be doing very much this time but then there isn't that much to do. Standard to Poore.
