BACKGROUND TO DANGER

Grand adventure story in old Oppenheim tradition. Middle Europe setting, internation spies, oil concessions, with various agencies all after the same data and stopping at nothing to get their stuff. A young English journalist, penniless, becomes inadvertently involved in passing papers over the border -- and finds himself implicated in a murder. From then on he is center of attack. Slight thread of romance with young Soviet agent adds love interest to adventure. Well done.
