THE D. A. GOES TO TRIAL

Not a Perry Mason yarn, but a good D. A. one. Political troubles are still besetting Doug Selby as he confronts dead and loose ends in an apparently unrelated double killing, disappearances, money troubles etc. The hot water gets hotter when a young woman lawyer enters the arena. He defies the grand jury, and pulls off a grandstand finish. Well paced complexities.
