AMERICA'S 60 FAMILIES

This is dynamite. Presumably, the facts are thoroughly substantiated for otherwise it sounds dangerous. Not -- as the title would indicate -- a study of the 60 leading and controlling families of America, but a study of social, economic, political, educational, charitable conditions and the contribution made to them by these 60 families. His contention is that this country is being strangled by a few, that politics are their game, charity their alibi; that they control press and organs of publicity; that they have fingers in every economic pie; that they manipulate the social welfare of the country. It is depressing and exciting reading red flag to the bull of economic unrest.
