ROUND-UP IN THE RIVER

Workmanlike Western with no fancy flourishes, in which range warfare, between successful Corrideo, whose questionable methods have won many enemies, and young Barrett, representing a syndicate out to destroy Corrideo's empire, flames to fresh fire after Corrideo marries young Penny to insure his dying wishes being carried out. Then he doesn't die -- and Penny does a bit of bargaining to save her fiance, Bill . Stampedes, murders, and the old man's final death culminate in Kane outwitting the schemers and saving Penny's inheritance. For the addict.
