More sex than surgery in the story of the two Thomas brothers -- and the girl they both love. Craig Thomas, air surgeon, reserved, severe, shy, loves Jean Halstead married to his kid brother, Larry. Larry drinks too much, fools around with a blonde and all too eager nurse, is grounded, and eventually cracks up. Craig operates and saves Larry's life, but not his sight, and Larry chooses a way out. This will rent, to be sure, as his other novels have done, but there are some burleycue bits that make it no dice for most public libraries.
