THE LAUGHING FOX

Nimblewitted booksalesman, Johnny Fletcher and his sidekick, Sam Cragg, once again embroiled in murders, this time at a mid-West Cattle Congress. A 20 year old disappearance, two killings, fox breeding and raising, a fur auction complicate Johnny's financial condition and ingenuity, but he does disclose the killer and long missing man. Good pace and inventive as The French Key.
