A non-anthropomorphized cat story by the author of the Mr. Twink books, this is a play by play account of the adventures of Olly, acquired as an eight week old kitten by Pam and her grandmother, who live in a caravan. When Olly is one year old, he gets into a scuffle with a dog and the owner of the caravan camp insists that the cat be removed. he is given to friend in London but escapes and heads for home. On the long trip back he meets a number of people, is injured in a cat fight and an automobile accident, and almost becomes the pet of a family engaged in setting up a museum Cat lovers will enjoy the extensive and realistic descriptions of Olly as he grows up.
