RONCALLI'S MAGNIFICENT CIRCUS

Brumbo, a little bear, gets tired of doing his homework and decides to run away from home--just as the circus train is rolling by. He follows the train and returns a ball that a mouse performer has tossed from her wagon, and the grateful circus master invites him to learn some tricks and perform in that night's show. When it's over, he's invited to return next time the circus is in town, and off he goes with his mother. ""She had been worried about her little bear and had followed him to the circus."" Standard if trusty material, with crass, bright-colored pictures that are totally without character or personality.
