WHILE I SLEPT

A new illustrator captures the still mystery of the night world in serene, carefully composed paintings focused on visual detail, while the simple text also comments on night's stray noises. Well observed--though Bilezikian seems more interested in design than in the child's world. Perhaps too soporific; still, an interesting debut.
