by Gene & Robert Coulson De Weese ‧ RELEASE DATE: June 3, 1977
Inevitable, in hindsight, that Now You See It/Him/Them, De Weese and Coulson's chuckleheaded 1975 jeu d'ESPrit, should have given birth to a sequel. This time Joe Karns is in Australia subbing for the Clarion's travel editor, and naturally a world sf convention has to show up along with him, complete with ""emotion dowser"" Kay Clarke and various other leftovers from the last convention. They all blunder into the company of an alien masquerading, without great difficulty, as an Australian, and bobble about Sydney and environs dropping odd bits of fan lore for what seems like six years but is supposed to be more like two days. ""It's all Sharon's fault,"" reads the dedication, and Sharon certainly has a lot to answer for.
