THE WATCHER AT THE DOOR

Another third man in Vienna prompts the interferences and investigation of young and determined Casey Homes, on a business trip there, when the murder of a Hungarian and the supposed suicide of an American diplomat, Chadwell, indicates the sell-out of secret information to an unknown enemy. Homes' first rendezvous- in a steam bath- leaves him with a corpse; a tape recorder alerts him to the chance that Chadwell is alive; and a fast shuffle- and scuffle- in the Russian Zone proves his point and his patriotism. Bright-and busy.
