ANGLO-SAXONY AND ITS TRADITION

Readers of Streit's Union Now will be interested in this further expansion of the theory of union from the European angle, with the issue lying between the ""discipline of a determined liberty and the discipline of despotism."" It covers totalitarian states, and explains their backgrounds and concepts, details the possibilities of a new order based on the Anglo-Saxon tradition of respect for necessary values. Gives historical material as proof such a confederation would and could work, outlines a working model of social, economic, political angles, details the advantages, and offers it as a solution for the saving of civilization. Poses questions as to faults and pitfalls. Clear but necessitates close reading. Keyed to serious students of vital problems and minds inquiring into the future. A better book than its abstract title indicates.
