THE METHODS OF MAIGRET

Maigret becomes self-conscious when a fellow detective from England becomes his uncommunicative companion on a murder committed on the island of orquerolies in the south of France. The local inhabitants, the visiting strangers, the enclosed island life, all contribute to Maigret's hampered investigation which unearths some old coins, fake masterpieces -- and a double justice. A new twist for an old timer.
