THE LORD WON'T MIND

When young Peter meets Charlie Mills, Charlie's soi-disant aunt says ""I'll leave you in Charlie's capable hands"" without perhaps realizing quite what she's saying. Under their tutelage Peter quickly enjoys all the possibilities of homoerotic love even though at one point Charlie marries Hattie (she's a girl) and Peter's interregnum is spent with a lawyer. Mr. Merrick, once he has ""explored the graphic possibilities of the erect sex,"" hasn't much else to write about. And speaking of minding--all of this odd coupling is quite offensive.
