by Grace Noll Crowell ‧ RELEASE DATE: Sept. 7, 1955
A collection of sixty-two verses contains many which have been previously published in various secular and religious periodicals. They are characterized by their tenderness, sensitiveness and sincerity and by their indubitable piety and questionable poetry, although here and there is a phrase to be remembered. However, through the twenty volumes of verse that have previously been published and by her frequent contributions to magazines, Mrs. Crowell has attracted to herself a wide reading public. Accordingly, there will be a much wider demand for this book than it may seem to deserve.
