YUSUF: Boy of Cyprus

Orphaned by his mother's death, young Yusuf found his impetuous behaviour in running away from well-meaning neighbors was dangerous independence. The Turkish delights offered him by two strangers were bitter sweets for they led him far from home in Larnaca. The ""exercises"" that were taught him proved to be training for a burglary. But Yusuf turned the tables on his captors, by sounding the alarm as the thieves broke into an English household. Yusuf's daring brought him influential mentors and a bright future. Inventive plotting and a new setting make this a fresh addition to the good-adventure-mysteries of the season.
