THE LABOR MOVEMENT IN AMERICA

A good many intelligent older boys and girls today are inquiring into the hows and whys of labor unrest and the foundations of present conditions. This book is an excellent groundwork book to suggest to them. A somewhat elementary history written in simple and clear style, starting with the indentured slaves of the colonies, and coming up to the present struggle between the A.F. of L. and the C.I.O. Terms in public parlance are explained and one section deals with government legislation.
