BIG GAME OF AFRICA

The nearest I've been to hunting Big Game was an invitation to go out to Uganda with friends from Oxford so I never thought I'd get so absorbed in a book about it. I could not put it down. It is good reading, from the description of the country, the people, the game to the adventures and risks, it will hold you. The Walia Ibex shoot in Semien Mountains, Abyssinia, is particularly interesting now with the Italians camped in the ideal spot and the Mountain Nyala shoot 400 miles away near Addis Ababa -- but -- try it yourself!
