PEOPLES OF THE SOUTHWEST PACIFIC

An Asia Press publication, this is a book of photographs, with an introduction by the author, an anthropologist, who for fifteen years has made expeditions among the Papuans of the Solomons and New Guinea. Briefly describing the villages, the family life, the ancestral customs and religious beliefs, the livelihoods, these are illustrated in the photographs which are excellent. Be that as it may, we find it extremely difficult to designate a market for this.
