YOU CAN STOP DRINKING

A book about drinking which is self-help in approach and therapy and except for the suggestion that you contact a doctor, a minister or a friend for additional assistance, leaves it largely up to you. Why you drink; the duality of your conscious and unconscious self; what childhood hangovers precipitate; the inferiorities, insecurities you are escaping; the adjustment of a sex problem, elimination of fear, and time and again the efficacy of a strong faith in God- this the coverage. One questions whether this is forceful enough, or professional enough to do much good- and the Anderson & Cooper The Other Side of the Hottle (Wyn- p.410) is a more intelligent, inclusive treatment which offers much more solid support.
