NO MORE, NO LESS

First rate renter, with modern touch, a bit more subtlety in overtones than the casual hammock fare, sympathetic handling of ticklish subject, natural and up to the trigger dialogue, good timing in plot structure. A story of a marriage on the verge of breaking up when Fate intervenes, and forces its continuance. Then the long drawn-out tragedy of a loveless marriage, with loyalty to a wrecked man on one side, and a sadistic impulse of pure selfishness on the other, even to the way of death at the end. But it works out plausibly in the last analysis, and the deed man's hand loses its power.
