STRENGTH FOR LIVING

As long as people pray regularly they must face the temptation to pray mechanically, and for this reason a book such as Strength For Living is always welcome. Hazel Wilson has assembled a compilation of devotional guidance which is better than most. This may reflect her world wide interests as a Trustee of Anatolia College in Greece, or her similar task with Kobe College in Japan. (Maybe it's just that she's a mother five times over.) Whatever the reason, in this devotional work, covering thirty-one days, she has assembled much that is new, some that is old, but all that is relevant to the great themes that she explores. There is danger in trying to read this book quickly. It is meant for prayerful meditation, -- a day at a time.
