And if the reader wishes to know more about the mating habits of British spouse seekers who subscribe to marriage bureaus--and goodness knows who doesn't--this is a veritable corn-ucopia of anecdote and cases. Not surprisingly, Miss Jenner deduces from her years in the confessional, that her men today are more liberal in sexual matters, more interested in companionship, and less inclined to expect an authoritarian role. And there'll always be an English Marriage Bureau: ""I'm working class and I want a wife (who has) no ideas above her station,"" says one swain.
