As in Where Did Josie Go?, the reader is taken on a romp in and around Josie's house. This time Josie decides that she would like to go out and play in the snow. She asks each member of the household to go outside, and although the animals want to stay inside, the rest of the family likes the idea so they all go out and slide down a hill, make a snowman, feed birds, and sing snowy songs. The text, written in jingly little rhymes in which the rhythm sometimes misses, is good for identification purposes. The stylized illustrations, which are in sophisticated tones of pink, orange, aqua, lavender and grey, may sometimes be a bit confusing but do have action.
