Another dog story by a popular author, a story of a Boston terrier who gets himself lost in Puerto Rico. Good factual background of the island (where, incidentally, the author lives with her own Boston terrier) gives this additional value, and White Boots seems a very real small dog. Bob, White Boot's master, was sent to Trinidad, and White Boots stows away on a transport. But trouble comes when she is stolen and sold to rich Puerto Ricans, and through all her vicissitudes continues to search for her master.
