ASK HENRY

When an eleven year old boy takes to a newspaper column offering advice to parents on how to raise children, the results range from comedy to pathos. Faced with a need to save up college tuition (it says here), young Henry made up some sample letters and answers, and soon found himself the author of a regular column in a Canadian newspaper, under the title Ask Henry. Examples of the column's contents are interspersed here with Henry's personal asides, which, only logically, have a satiric twist that does not prevail in the column itself, except on rare occasions when he professes to answer a silly question with a silly reply. Fun and foibles of the younger set appear against a background of Henry's well-developed opinions on parental behavior (centering around the theme ""Kind But Firm"" when it comes to punishments). Prescription a dozen or two pages to be taken by Mother daily before the kids get home from school.
