Each year the Presiding Bishop of the Protestant Episcopal Church selects a book to be recommended for Leaton reading. This year Bishop Sherrill has chosen to have a book originally written in 1908, in the hope that the church people of from a reading of it the inspiration and help that it has brought to these of a generation. It is however essentially a preacher's book and not one that will read by the laity.
