Decisions, decisions! Joel was a compulsive vacillator who could never decide what was his favorite color, what he should wear, what games to play, what breakfast cereal to eat, and then got annoyed when others hesitated to choose for him. Whenever he was given an opportunity to be selective he would find that there were too many things that he liked, but he was usually disappointed in what was finally assigned to him. When he couldn't decide what he wanted for his birthday, he discovered that he would receive no gift until he had made up his mind. The story doesn't offer much interest, but it is a graphic illustration of an annoying tendency in many children.
