by Howard Fast ‧ RELEASE DATE: Aug. 29, 1973
There's more psychology than hardware in this collection of delicately crafted fantasies about people confronting extraordinary phenomena. What would you make of the sun going out or a gnat-sized man on the back porch or a show cause order from God demanding one good reason for not destroying the earth or waking up one morning to discover that you can pluck breakfast rolls out of the air or an embarrassingly temporary solution to New York City's garbage problem? Uneven but generally satisfying.
