HEART OF DANGER

Ted Moran took on a big job when he went on the mission through France to Paris. Rudolph Behrens, who wanted to compose music, had the hardness in him to help in the big fight against fascism. Together they make headway in a story that makes good action reading, with intolerance and fascism the foe, in an adventure story full of suspense and incident, complete with happy ending. Howard Pease has arrived at a formula that boy readers like; if we feel, sometimes, that he is more concerned with that formula than with the quality of his work, at least we recognize the fact that he holds his audience.
