by Hubert Skidmore ‧ RELEASE DATE: Aug. 4, 1939
First rate story of a mountain youth, brought up by an uncle and aunt, and fired with a determination to become a doctor and save his people the fate that overtook his own parents. To this end he studies in his spare time, takes a hard job as teacher in a community gone wild and lawless, and puts it over, winning the admiration and respect of the people among whom he worked. A good picture of the hinterlands, of the humanness and fineness back of the ignorance and superstition and distrust. Good adventure as well.
