VERMONT IS WHERE YOU FIND IT

I've come to the conclusion that more people claim Vermont roots than actually live within its borders. It is almost like the people who stand up when Dixie la played (and who never saw the Southland). For these ""loyal Vermonters"" who like to poke a bit of fun at themselves, with a tender, nostalgic undercurrent, this is a book made to their order. Grand selection of characteristic sayings, stories attributed to Vermont, straight Yankee, with the ""feel"" of the native Vermonter, cryptic, philosophical, teras -- arranged to make running captions and good suspense for fine photographs by a variety of artists in the field.
