KOALA BEAR TWINS

The umpteenth in Inez Hogan's animal twin series explains some Australian tree life with engagingly serious humor. Kip and Tinka, the twins, are wisely raised by their mother in a tree. They learn of the lyre bird, the emu, the kookaburra and the platypus, but are warned not to visit the ground. When they do one day, a dingo dog almost catches them but they escape to their leafy home in time.
