TOO MANY SHOES AND STOCKINGS

A favorite author writes a fanciful story of a group of bears, trapped by the fashionable lawyer in their midst, into wearing shoes and stockings. The results are clumsy and unhappy, and peace and propriety are restored only when a big flood returns the bears to their natural barefoot state. Good simple nonsense for five to eights. Lush warm brown for bears that caper and clamber and stomp through these pages. (Adults may find a moral if they choose, but it wont bother the children).
