GRENELLE

One of Miss Holland's more pleasingly modern stories in which, after eleven years, Susan returns to the home of her dead father--also Father--one Canon Grenelle. Now another man of the cloth is pilloried for his discovery of a Relic, be it real or otherwise, by a group of younger militants. Susan also has her own problems--the man she loved and once lost to her now-dead twin sister and the daughter of that sister. In any case, a different situation where blasphemy tailgates newer forms of evil--Nunc Dimittis to an increasingly devout readership.
