Mid European background -- an imaginary country of up-to- date-Harold Mac Grath-vintage. The little principality was on the side of the winners in the Great War -- and included in its spoils a bit of German territory where trouble was continually brewing. The story deals with the plots and counterplots in which a night club entertainer and a secret service man in the other camp are involved in romance and threats of destruction. The dictator enters the picture, and his passion wins freedom for the girl who had plotted his life. It's not tops -- but will rent reasonably well.
