Oliver Ott of Oliver Sounds Off! (1953 p. 149) whose zany but possible experiments should tickle incipient physicists, turns from sound vibrations to snowstorm-making. After he sets up his forecasting bureau (a simple one you could do yourself), a rivalry with Butch leads to a challenge- and Oliver is dared to create as well as predict. For his coup, he chooses a cloudy day, loads skyrockets with a combustible form of silver iodide and the miracle happens. Humorous reading, however not to be taken lightly if any of your young get tempestuous ideas.
