A horse story with some career interest as horse and boy are trained to become members of the Mounted Police Corps. Trusty, a superior horse, lives on a Connecticut farm with Dick and Delia, a brother and sister, is embarked on adventure, and misadventure, when the farm is sold. The children go to live in New York, Dick to read law which he hates, and Delia to study art, which she loves. Mike Paterson, of the New York Mounted Police, is the fate which leads Dick back to his interest in horses. He studies to become a policeman, and, with Mike's help, soon joins the Mounties, and meets -- guess what horse! A bit of romance between Delia and Mike, and a dramatic fire and flame finish steps up a happy ending.
