. . . and better they should be reading this? ? ? ? Jackie Collins is Britain's answer to Jacqueline Susan (well, the book takes place in London even though it sounds like some hashhouse off Sunset Boulevard) and since it's already been sold to pictures, and the paperback affiliation is assured, all you need worry about is pushing this hard core sex in hard covers. Namely it's about another Claudia and David (no, this is not for Rose Franken's girls) Claudia's a model with lots of display acreage from the neck down and David uses her for his soap commercial. Hooked on her to the point where he makes out with her publicly at a large party, he finally loses his wife: while Claudia (after a revolting scene with an aging film director) moves on to America as Miss Playgirl and David's retribution could not be more deservedly complete. Well, the world is indeed full of both married men and books, some of which are worse than others. This is being billed as another Valley but except for the cleavage, it has by no means the story values, although it's at the top of the best seller heap in Britain.
