Announcing what promises to be one of the high spots of the year's publishing -- announced at this early date to warn you that the original limited of 500 copies was exhausted before the salesmen contacted their accounts, and that the number was increased to 1250 thus giving you a second chance. This limited will be printed on full rag paper, uncut edges. Both limited and regular edition will contain 500 full-page color plates, the complete set of the original 435 from the Elephant Folio and 65 additional illustrations done later, and covering birds of the Rocky Mountains and the Far West. Each printed in exact reproduction of the originals, on a separate page, size 9 x 9 1/2. Introduction and descriptive text by William Vogt, editor of Bird Lore. Circulars prepared now for sales aid. But the book is a ""natural"" -- now and for years to come.
